On the 11th of February 2023, the team members of QualitApps Asia embarked on an adventurous day out at Madu Queen Boat Safari in Balapitiya. With 22 staff members eagerly participating, this event was a wonderful opportunity to escape the confines of remote work and immerse themselves in a day filled with exciting activities and natural beauty.
The team members set sail on a captivating river safari along Madu Ganga, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful and ecologically significant wetlands. As they cruised through the mangroves and explored the enchanting waterways, they were treated to breathtaking views of lush vegetation, vibrant birdlife, and an array of exotic flora and fauna. The tranquility of the surroundings provided a soothing escape from the demands of their daily work routines.
During the Madu Queen Boat Safari, the staff members had the opportunity to visit a local cinnamon island. Here, they witnessed the traditional process of harvesting and preparing cinnamon, gaining insight into this beloved spice’s cultural and historical significance.
